Household recycling is currently collected every week, alternating between blue bags and clear bags. Here is a reminder of what goes into your bags:
Small quantities of cardboard, paper, magazines, envelopes. (no paper or cardboard contaminated with food).
Milk & food cartons, tins & cans, empty aerosol containers, plastic tops & can lids, aluminium containers and foil. Plastic bottles, tubs, trays and pots, packaging from food, drink, cosmetics, toiletries, cleaning products, etc. food & drink cartons. (please ensure all items are clean and food free). The cleaner the items the more value and less cost to recycle.
Do not include black plastic, thin film, carrier bags or polythene sacks.
